Heating & Ventilation Engineering Apprenticeship - Added 09/08/2018


Description:

We are looking for a Heating & Ventilation Apprentice to join a tight knit team learning all aspects of heating, ventilation and plumbing services within commercial buildings whilst studying for and working towards a formal Heating & Ventilation Apprenticeship.

The role is predominantly site based carrying out installation, maintenance and break down activities on mechanical plant and equipment associated with building Heating & Ventilation systems. The candidate will primarily be working within the Mechanical Team to achieve the goals of the team. During the first period of the apprenticeship the individual will work alongside skilled members of the team supporting their efforts to achieve the team objectives whilst learning from them the skills and knowledge required to progress the apprenticeship to the next level. As the apprenticeship progresses the candidate will be expected to become more and more self sufficient, take on more individual responsibility and become more independent of other members of the team eventually working alongside skilled engineers completing the same work.

At the successful completion of the apprenticeship the candidate will have obtained a nationally recognised Level 3 NVQ in heating and ventilation systems and a City & Guilds qualification to match.

Qualifications/Skills Required
•Three GCSE Grades A-C or 9-4 including English, Mathematics and a science/technical based subject.
•Driving, (if the individual does not have a current driving license he/she will be expected to obtain a license as quickly as is reasonably practicable).

Electrical Aprrenticeship - Added 09/08/2018


Description:

We are looking for an Electrical Apprentice to join a tight knit team learning all aspects of installing electrical services within commercial buildings whilst studying to complete an Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship in Electrical Installation.

The role is predominantly site based; carrying out installation, maintenance, inspection and breakdown activities on electrical infrastructures in commercial premises. The candidate will primarily be working within the Electrical team, during the first period of the apprenticeship the successful candidate will be expected to work alongside skilled members of the team supporting their efforts to achieve the team objectives whilst learning from them the skills and knowledge required to progress the apprenticeship to the next level. As the apprenticeship progresses the role will change with the candidate expected to become more and more self sufficient, take on more individual responsibility and become more independent of the other members of the team eventually working alongside a skilled electrician completing the same work.

At the successful completion of the apprenticeship the candidate will have obtained a nationally recognised Level 3 NVQ in electrical installation and a City & Guilds qualification to match.

•English and Maths GCSE grade C or equivalent + 1 Science
